Ok, sorry, but I'm replacing the rear pads on my 99 GT. I can't compress the ****ing piston, the c-clamp isn't working. I ordered 2 new calipers at advance auto, thinking they were shot, but then i came across an article that said you need to screw the pistons back in with a "special tool' can someone please verify and elaborate this for me? Thanks!

There are two major mistakes that people make when working with brakes:

-not flushing the fluid often enough
-not using high temp grease on the slide pins and pad slider grooves
