Favorite AND least Favorite mod you bought

5spd conversion hands down! I had an AODE with a 3000 stall and shift kit, still hated it. 5spd conversion woke the vert up like none other.

Worst... JMS chip. Had to send it back once for a reburn, and my car ran much slower with it than it does with my personal tune on the TwEECer. Waste of $300.
 
I'm gonna include all my past street cars along with my present 95.

Favorite is my custom cam

Worst was a full tilt C4 trans in a 66 Stang. It worked great and all my gearhead buds thought it was great but to me the only thing great about it was the disappointment I got from it.

You didnt "lose" torque...your power band just got shifted. As long as it was 2.5" and not 3" or something.

But anyway my worst would probably be...my headlights. I dont like them as much as i thought i would.

Best is HOPEFULLY going to be my h/c/i i recently just bought....we will see :spot:
 
Best: 5 spd, t-5 swap. hands down best money i've spent yet.. SOTp feeling, dynoed 60 /70 ftlbs higher than w/ my auto... car's meaner, takes off faster, clutch drops are fun... better GAs milage.. should i go on?( GT a9l more agressive computer...etc..: :nice:

:::Attention:::auto transmissions SUCK!! im not talkin a race built c-4 or c-6 or lentech auto. i'm talkin about the autotragic AODE that infests good mustangs GT's....

probly my Nitrous kit, not any regrets as far as using it. jus never GET to use it.. ever. work most weekends an nights.. only 1/4 mile track close to here shut down.. waste of funds. tryin to get rid of it to start building a 306.

What kinda spray kit? Wet or dry? Whats ALL included? I might be interested depending what brand it is and how much?

Not that I've done too much with the car, but....

Fav = tie between short throw shifter and O/R X pipe. The shifter changed the way the car felt 100 percent, the O/R X gave me the raspy tone I wanted... btw, there is no way in hell putting an O/R X on your car robs it of power, everything felt better to me.
Least Fav - MAC ceramic headers. for 400 bones I could have bought lots of things that made more of a difference, like a TF Manifold.

Worst- Not to happy with my msd 8.5 wires right now.

Best: I guess shell Vpower 94 octane gas. Seems like the stang takes off stronger with it. Haven't done anything else to the car since I got it.

WORST:
-I agree, the MSD universal wires are SUPER POS!!! the header burns them cuz they don't fit right. That was $70 WASTED completely!!! :nonono: Glad to know advanced autoparts sells ford stuff, I'll try to get those today.
-K&N filter :notnice: , the oil got on my MAF and car ran like SHT. Don't recommend it! once I cleaned everything, put paper filter back in everything went back to normal.

That's pry because you added to much oil. For what it's worth though, you can get away with not oiling it and just runnng it dry.

I just think that for the money and couple hp that it adds, and the sht it causes w/ the oil, and the fact that if you don't oil it you'll get all sorts of junk in your engine - it's just not worth it. I want real power, not couple hp here and there, H/C/I is the way to go, so I'd rather just save my money.
