I'm using wife's iPad, so I don't know how to do some stuff yet, like direct you to a direct link, so you'll just have to click on the thing below and see if it works.

So I'm looking at the 73 mamillion different gauges autometer alone has to offer, and ( keep in mind it's me here) I find these gauges.

http://static.summitracing.com/global/images/prod/large/atm-1186_w.jpg

The stinkin' things are expensive, but I've been looking at them for two days now, and these are the ones I choose.

So the digital gauges are going back, to summit. i'm fed up w/ the little issues that keep popping up. They're gonna credit me the full purchase price (399.00)

The full set will set me back twice that, but I figure that since I got the credit coming, it'll ease the pain. ( good thing I'm a crack whore, I'd never be able to handle the pain, other wise.

Interested in seeing what your interior color scheme is like to incorporate those in there. They look vintage.

Great choice, Mike. I didn't have the heart to tell you, but those digital gauges didn't go well with the theme of your car at all, IMHO. These new gauges are going to look badass!

Hell, don't worry about offending me anymore, the pics of the car taken at bowling green ( by others) are showing up on other ford forums. Comments have ranged from mostly good to "awful", and or vomit emoticons.

As for the gauges, I think they'll look zackly like I want them to. I looked at every style of gauge from Autometer, VDO, SW, and a few others before deciding on these. It was between those, or the "American Muscle" variant that was mostly SS. I wanted something that would blend more w/ the rest of my plan. They are like the rest of the thing,....something that you don't see every day (yet).
Gonna build a wood backer to mount them on & stain it walnut, and urethane the piss out of it. Then cover the entire front of the dash (where the center A/C vent is currently) in the same ultra gloss wood grain. Move the upper dash mounted mach 1 emblem to the center of that and I'll be 100% retro inside.

Before any of you post a vomit emoticon, I need to point out that Mach 1's, and just about every 60's mustang had wood accents on the dash and console. (Including the GT 500 KR) The Mach1 had two honkin' fake teak facades surrounding the gauges on the left, and a clock that never worked on the right.

So if anybody else is thinkin' that I'm fk'n up, let me just take a moment in advance, and tell you that you can just eat me.

I'll add this to my thread when I start on it next week.
