First what is the standard thickness or a head gasket for a 86-93 stang?
I just measured one that i just took off and it was .053.
Im looking to get a little compression and noticed some Fel-pro head gaskets are
.040 thick compressed.
The one i found for sale was this:
Fel Pro 1133 - Fel-Pro PermaTorque Multi-Layer Steel Head Gaskets - JEGS
It says 4.000 to 4.100. Wouldnt i want one that is 4.030 if im bored .030 over like this one:

Any insight or ideas welcome.
