Looking at these pictures reminds me of the car I bought in '01. I wanted the floor pans replaced, took the car, and the new pans (just front pieces, not rocket science) to a national chain shop. They welded the new pans right on top of the old ones. Left the rusty bits hanging down. What a mess.
The ugly work on your car which you are fixing, looks a lot like mine did.
I was annoyed, but that didn't get me out of paying for what we had contracted for. I haven't let anyone work on my cars but me, since that fiasco.
