The last one I have is way overexposed, but the ones I have that arent, dont have as many cars going by. And I need someplace darker for the brake light ones....but not bad for a first try!

Very neat, I once caught an ambulance... Steve Irwin voice "These are very rare..."

Didn't have my tripod so the pic bounces ever so slightly. I wish I had the tripod on hand.

Friggin Awesome, how do you do this again? Just mess with the exposure or shutter time on your camera, what is the best setting?

Like I said this was my first try but in those pictures I was using a 8 second shutter speed( I think) except for the last one, which was 20 seconds.

hey i would like to know what kind of camera you were useing?
was it 35mm film, or was it digital?
i know the real expensive (fully manual digital) cameras are good for this, but the batteries die fast.
or was it just an "average joe" DIGITAL camera with exposure settings.
im curious to know.

this is a link i found when i was doing some research on the subject a while ago, its full of tips and reading this page could be a big help in capturing some great photos.
it mentions flashing colored lights on certain objects for a short amount of time when using long exposure times. hope it helps.
nice photos for your first attempt by the way.
(I suck at spelling)
