Ok I am about to start working on my build. I have a few questions.

1. What cam thrust plate am I supposed to use. It is going in a 94 mustang, but the block i am using is a late 80s roller block. I cant take mine off my motor because its still in the car so i am just going to order a new one. What part number will work.

2. Does the arp engine bolt kit come with the bolts for the thrust bearing and for the timing chain.

3. Checking oil clearances on the crankshafts and rods. Do I use a dial caliper for this or what. I have a plastigage but im not sure how to use it, so if i can just use this for clearances, how do you use it.

4. Also the timing chain i ordered, im thinking is the wrong one. It is the comp cams magnum 2138, but it says its for 84-92, will this work on my motor or should i get a different one, and which one to get.

5. Is there like a master bolt list anywhere that tells what each bolt is supposed to be on all the stuff putting the motor together, in case the arp bolt kit doesnt come with everything.

Thanks for the help. Im going to polish the crankshaft journals and get clearances so that i can take the block to be machined this week, then im ready to put most of it together.

FYI, this will be a forged rod and piston 306, pnp/milled patriot heads, trick flow stage 1 cam, track heat intake, with 150 shot of nitrous. When i do the motor swap, im going to go ahead and do full tubular front suspension and manuel rack. I want to get the front completely done, so i dont have to touch it again. Then all i will need is the rear built and the tranny built, and look good parts.
