just got a 94 GT. It seems to need a little work. It runs good. Did a tune up, cap, rotor, wires, and plugs. It seems to have a hesitation. I have had fox body 5.0's but never a sn-95. Are the cleaning of the sensors the same? Also it has red top injectors in it. I think they are too big. Cobra intake, forged pistons, and I beam rods, some kind of after market cam, gt40 iron heads, roller rockers, intake, headers, msd coil and dizzy. 5-speed. How do you pull the codes?

if there want a tune done with the cam and injector swap that could be the Cu's of the hesitation, 30#ers do seem a little much with the gt40 and cobra intake

Injectors are fine, as long as the meter is calibrated, of course.

Clean all your sensors. Check your timing. Maybe a new fuel filter. Have you check your coil? If it's not missing, just hesitating a lil bit, more than likely it's a dirty sensor. MAF, IAC, ACT, IAT, TPS, check those out.

The plug to ck the codes is by the a/c cansiter on the passenger side firewall. The connection is just hanging around in that area.

MAF cleaning
Clean the IAT while you're at it (unlike a fox III, it's in the air intake tubing. It takes 30 seconds to remove, clean and reinstall).

Another vote to check codes and check timing.
You might be seeing early signs of a PIP on the way out as well.

Good luck.

When is the hesitation? If it is between shifts then get a custom dyno tune, the tuner will take out ford's timing change between shifts and you will love it!!!

Or find a retard box and lock out your timing and avoid all the ECU interaction with the timing and run total timing all the time.

GTCOBRA, what have you done since posting this thread?
