No worries, I thought maybe something like that happened. I was talking to Vinman about it the other day. You get the car done yet?

Yeah the seats are black, I couldnt find the perfect color but the black saves me from doing the dash and door panels etc... Ill just redye what needs to be redyed, get some black seat belts and be all set.

I might have the pops school make the delete for me. Cut it up according to our template and then Ill carpet it. Did you see my brothers, he did it one afternoon and it looks badass! He put the speakers in it and everything.

I agree, I've been consistent mid 1.9xs on the street tires, but that was with a working Trac Loc. since its a one legger now, things are tricky.

I've only ever ran a 1.9 60 on street tires once and it was in my buddy's car. It had Cobra R's on it and Kumho Ecsta Supras on it and a mild 347.

Do you have control arms or anything in the back? A lot of guys at the track told me there's no way i'm gonna cut lower than 1.9 without at least aftermarket arms and they said that's why i'm going sideways off the line so hard.

I will be in delewre this weekend for a mini truck show (long story, using a 2 car trailer to tow some show trucks down). You saw it after carpet or before? After carpet it looks badass.

Yeah 1.9s arent easy but once you get into that groove it isnt too hard. Now people who are cutting 2.2s or worse thats really to me just driving and practice. Getting below a 1.9 (Ive been 1.91) would be some talent. If I try any RPM over idle it spins...

Hey i just ran across a little pic of your car in one of the mags, said you were a winner in some class? It was a few years old, probably right when you got it painted.

Yeah FFW from last year. I snagged the lowest 13 second average. They took some pics on the track this year, but I didn't win anything so I doubt it gets in the magazine!

Yeah our GT40P car has been 12.17 @ 110, but he was only going 107-108 (hit 109 once) this past weekend. Even my friends NMRA set up cars (VERY loose, but valve jobed GT40s, race cars) were only going 107-109 mph.

Call me dumb, but something about a 306 with E7s going into the 11s on motor and 10s on the bottle... well it just makes me smile.

My friend suggested fuel filter for a cause of the issues. I plan on a tune up, fuel filter, clean the air filter, rebuild the trac loc and borrow some 17 or 18" drag radials. Id be happy in the 12.7 area on something like that.

im thinkin all that stuff and a fuel pump would do the trick,

unless you already have a bigger fuel pump.

Just a 110 lph. I'll do that tune up stuff and run it again soon and see how it reacts. It really does that lack of power thing more or less every other pass.

You pulled those 60-footers on 18" wheels?

Wow that's impressive. Can you come drive my car?

Take some pics of the new seats. I'm curious to how those are gonna look

Yeah on the tires the car has all the time. Launch off idle, walk it out slowely and go like hell. It actually isn't hard, I was in the 1.9s after a pass in the car, and was hoping to snag a 1.89 or better that day. Needless to say once the T loc is redone and I can borrow some 17 or 18" DRs Id like to hit some low 1.8s maybe 1.7s?

BTW:

Seats are here now. Cleaning them and making them look new... Damn things weigh about 100 lbs each though!
