anyone see the red Mach 1 with nitrous in True Street blow the head gasket? i know the kid and hes so cocky about it..hes been running 150 shot on that stock motor for over 50 passes, thinkin it was invincible....i guess the True Street class wasnt havin a good day, just glad everyone was safe

Got the T down t a 13.4@106 on my continental streets lol, was a good time and im glad I made it home in one peice. I was watching that car spin as i was goin down the return lanes, Crazy. I Got some carnage pics of them ill have to upload them up.

I got a quick shot of that car when the wrecker flew by in the pits. Glad the kid made it out ok. As for the mach 1, it looked to me like a nitrous backfire which blew apart his intake boot He seemed to think his internals were gone, but who knows.

and then there was me

I saw Dave (mansonzz) and 25th mustang. Two very nice cars!! Nice to meet you both in "3D" (or is it 4D?) I scored a few pics of each rides, 25th, I have a nice one of you staging if interested.

At any rate, it was a wonderful weekend and we really lucked out! My buddy with the Turbo 92 LX landed a few 12.4's on the bracket race/True Street. Hes going to replace the World Class T5 with a mighty mite c4, mod his rear susp and add slicks. He was running 17" cobra Rs with 275 Nittos. I cant wait to see him go into the 11s once he hooks up. He has plans of a stroker and poss a bigger turbo.

My tripometer read 297 when I got home, which is the total mileage of the new block. One more trip up to NH will get me right where I need to be for tuning. And boy do I need it, it runs pig rich and loads up on the highway. F'n FMU. I cant wait to give it a nice toss when it comes time to tune.

Ha its all good man, I checked out your ride my friend had the red LX with the turbo in your class. I was over there on the grassy nole helping him out err at least when you guys were allowed to open your hoods haha. What a strict class!
I thought for sure judges would acknowledge the rareness of my car.... but no , I was one of the last ones the judge inspected so he was burnt out. I caught him not closing doors all the way and rubbing up against cars. So i guess I dont care much for his decisions anyhow haha!!

Yes you are !! I was to the left of him (looking at his car). I even got there before Dave and left after him!! I was closer to the staging lane side of the field sunday since my black car didnt like the dust coming from the pit area (nor did I...at all)

Yea I got alot and I mean alot of 2nd looks and deep deep conversations about the car. Im almost sick of talking about it. But you GOT TO LOVE IT. Im keeping the car for sure now, or at least I think. I had my eyes glued to the 10th anniv 03 cobra for sale. The guy wanted 29k firm, and even though it might be worth it, I dont see myself beating on a 200 car limited production cobra, or at least not for that price haha.

Im so glad i bought this car, I plan on keeping it for a long long time. I think im gonna unload the 84 T- notch i have tho, Just dont have time for it, and want to make my 88 perfect

what did you end up running? do you have subframes and/or cage? ive heard of vettes and camaros losing there Ts on the track. Ive never heard of stangs doing it, but then again you dont see alot of them racing either. Im torn to go more drag or show. For now it sits somewhere in the middle and is simply a silly sick street car.

i ended up running a 13.4@106 on crappy street tires, with a junk as 2.2 60ft

Thee guy i bought teh car from, put subframes in the car back in 93. This car is so straight, there is zero hang up when i shut the doors. I only true street the car, and this was the first time with this car at the track. I hated hearing the noise go over the T's HATED IT. I was so scared they were gonna fly off. Everywhere i go, the T's stay in their bag in the trunk.

Where is a good place to upload pics? And who else from Stangnet was there? I did not recognize the Orange Mach 1 with Daggar/Hissin or the Black Cobra. I will host them on Imageshack but they wont last long.

Hissin you can make that into a new picture for the forum.

EDIT: It is too bad when I shrink these pics down they lose a lot of quality.
