So, since my oil cooler decided to come off the block and I rebuilt the engine and put a cam in it that was way to big... the car has not run right. I changed many things when i took it apart (big cam, AFPR, 30lb injectors, ProM, different chip (for the 30s), all in prep for the blower)

The lift on the cam with 1.7 RR's was like .533/.566 with a high duration. Well obviously because the stock GT-40s couldn't take that much lift, it lost a lot of power and I’ve been trying to get it back ever since. The car also runs hella rich.. Well obviously because the stock GT-40s couldn't take that much lift, it lost a lot of power and I’ve been trying to get it back ever since. The car also runs hella rich.. like going from 17 mpg to 8. Last week I changed the 1.7s to some standard 1.6s and that helped a lot, but it was still running rich. I changed the fuel injectors today back to 24s with a new calibration tube for my C&L, and put in the original chip that was burnt for the 24s.

Now, with a lift of .505/.533 and a duration of like 282/284, it still runs rich as hell. I know the plugs are probably fouled.. but it does run quieter for some odd reason. It gets up, but runs like crap and about as fast as a stock GT or something... timing is at 10 degrees and fuel pressure at 47 lbs i think.

this weekend I’ll be putting in my TFS stage 1 (.498/.510) but if that doesn't help, i am at a loss.

Any ideas? from 17 mpg to 8. Last week I changed the 1.7s to some standard 1.6s and that helped a lot, but it was still running rich. I changed the fuel injectors today back to 24s with a new calibration tube for my C&L, and put in the original chip that was burnt for the 24s.

was my question too long and detailed?

Nah, but I think we know what your situation is, since you clarified it so well. (More than once). J/K :D I think you will notice a huge difference once you get that TFS Stage 1 in there. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you....
