Well since I got the car back in march, I've spent quite a penny on it... replacing things that needed fixed, putting new fun things in, and finishing up a few things the other owner didn't.

Well the car has been running really hott, and I'm pretty sure that the stock radiator is shot, it leaks a little every now and then, and the other day when I pulled it out, the car had a fun howling sound that I'm sure was the water pump, and I'm convinced that my fan doesn't always kick into high gear...

So I was browsing around on corral the other day and there is a guy selling his slightly used fluidyne, dual slimline fan setup, and brand new water pump, he wanted 150 for the fluidyne, 100 for the fans, and 35 for the pump...

So I offered him 280 shipped and we had a deal. So my fluidyne, pump and fans are on their way!

The guy's car was a drag car basically, and he grenaded his 347, w/novi, that ran a high 10..., and so he's parting it out...

He said the radiator had been fixed at the outlet or so... but works fine, and I was just like... SOLD!!!

Does everyone think I got a good deal???

I haven't sent the money yet, but he seems like a nice guy and has good feedback on corral, so i'm hoping all goes well, but I mean the radiator is over half off and is only a year old barely used, he said the car never got above 180 when he drove it with the setup...

Thanks in advance for the replies!

Sounds To Me Like You Got A Good Deal. I Paid Almsot 200 For A Stock Radiator. The Pump/fan/radiator Combination Should Help Alot But Depending On The Weather You Drive In It Could Be Something Else. I Replaced Everything Too...new Hoses, Pump, Radiator, 160 T-stat, Flushed It 20 Times, Water Wetter...everything And It Still Ran Really Hot-(i Live In The Middle Of The Mojave Desert). I Put A Manual Switch In For The Fan When I Converted My Stock Computer To An A9l And It Ran Much Much Cooler. Then When I Removed The Ac Condensor I Only Had To Run With The Low Speed Fan On. When I Was On The Freeway-no Fan...it Was Great. Made My Car Faster Too.
