Well, my driver's side tire finally blew. The inability to align them really screwed me. Both tires were worn down to the belts on the inside edges. It was just a matter of time before they died on me.
Now I have Toyo Proxes T1-R tires in front; they don't make the T1-S tires anymore. The good thing is that the T1-Rs actually cost less than the T1-Ss did 2 years ago.
They are 255/40/18 in front, 285/35/18 in back. When I need rear tires, I think I'll go with 284/40/18.
Now the clock is ticking because I don't want the same thing to happen to my new tires.
At least I finally got coil-overs and C/C plates and they are installed, but I still haven't gotten an alignment yet, because the coil-overs make a really annoying clunking noise when I go over bumpy road and I want to fix that before doing the alignment because it will involve taking the C/C plates out to put a nylon or rubber bushing between the spring and the top of the coil-over.
