Actually that kinda makes sense because a lot of companies (primarily the American companies) are styling their vehicles in a sort of way to pay tribute to the old days. The new Stang, Chrysler 300, TBird, PT Cruiser, VW Beetle, Mini Cooper, Chevy SSR, and even the 350Z are all good examples of retro styling. It seems to work quite well!
