i've put it off long enough. i am finally ordering a set of 4.10's for the 01 gt from stangnet's part shopper. found a place that will do the install for 200 bucks. just need to know what else i need to go with them; car has 25k on it, so i don't want to re-use old stuff; i need to know what else i need & where i can get it, didn't see an install kit or anything listed. also, is dmp's speed calibrator only way to go, or would chip be better. haven't had much luck with my dmp mil eliminators. (stopped working after 4 mo) any help appreciated.

I have heard good things about the granatelli predator programer, i personally think spending 80 for a calibrator would just be a waste of time.

we've got the speedcal and it's awesome. Support was very good to (even though I bought it from brothers and not DMP. NEVER again!). The best thing about the speedcal is how easy it is to install and adjust yourself. For example "by the book" the speedo was off by 10%. I adjusted it and now it's dead on. If we get a different brand of tires (you know they are slightly different), or different size tire, it's no prob to adjust it myself and best of all for free. It's adjustable in one half of a percent increments, so you are can get it perfect. I wish I could get one for my '92 because changing speedo gears just gets you close.

You will need a speedcal, fluids, and an install kit which you can find at www.gefracing.com The fluids for my car cost around $30. Ask the installer which ones you need.
