Finally got a steering wheel...install questions...

So i finally got a great deal on a steering wheel to replace the one that looks like someone took a big **** on. I'll be installing it tomorrow, and i wanna know what the easiest way to do it is, and what tools ill need. Thanks guys! It's another stock tan steering wheel fyi, just in immaculate shape this time around...

remember to unhook the battery for at least 10 minutes before you start to prevent the airbag from accidentally deploying.

You will need a steering wheel puller that you can buy or rent usually at any parts store. Its a pretty basic procedure, but do make sure you unhook the battery as previously mentioned. Where did you manage to find one? I've been looking for a tan one for quite some time. Mine looks and feels like crap. How much did it run you?

One word of caution: when I replaced mine (it was tan and looked like a bear kinda wiped its toosh with it), I noted that the repair manual says to replace the center wheel retention bolt. If you want to do it all perfect, you'd want to have a new bolt on hand first.

Id say keep checkin ebay if you dont need the air bag. theyre normally not too expensive on there.

yea i got mine on corral for $50, but ive been looking for over a year for a good one in excellent shape... put it in, and looks awesome, ill get pics later...
