This makes no sense at all. The transbrake engages first and reverse at the same time. 3rd gear has nothing to do with it.

Very true... but for some reason I was thinking rev used the intermediate band

after thinking about this a lot more...the only difference between the transbrake and non transbrake valve body adjustment is the 1/4 turn on the intermediate band which is 3rd gear i believe... not sure why this is though
