I finally got replacement cats for my 98 GT. I bought a set off of a stang with 25,000 miles on it for $80. I have pics of the old and new one. This job took me about 1 1/2 hours. The only problem I had was getting the nuts out of the setup where the cats connect to the headers. Those were on there tight. With a whole bunch of extensions and a flexible universal socket joint I got them out. But not a bad job...

Haha, first thread I seen of someone posting their catted mid pipe and actually upgrading it. Should of taken that $80 and gotten an O/R H. Just messing around, if thats what ya want, nice job on the swap.

I dont want to have to worry about my car not passing inspection if I went offroad...I thought about it. But I am getting ready to put spin tech mufflers on the car and an o/r h-pipe with spintechs would not make my neighbors happy. I live in a classy subdivision :-/
