After a week of stop and go, I finally got my battery box set up. I decided to hide the wiring and place it on the drivers side. Absolute PITA. Let me know what you think.

Thanks guys. I thought about the switch and left myself some wiggle room with the wiring. I wont have any track time in the near future and still need to swap the tranny before I do.

:D

Nice job! Mine isn't hid quite that well....the wire actually runs along the rear shock tower brace.

If you ever go to do the switch, pm me or something. I can send you some pics of my setup. I basically used a few spacers and installed a flip down license plate bracket and mounted the switch behind it. At the track I can simply flip it down and expose the switch....off-track I flip it up and keep it hidden.

I used rubber. It was the "[" shaped pieces of rubber that go under your metal radiator hold downs on a stock 5.0. I changed my radiator, and the rubber pieces would no longer fit. They were just laying around, so I trimmed a square piece from each, and they worked perfectly.

Thanks. I went around to some of the salvage yards in the area, hoping to score a plate holder, but no luck. Guess the majority of them are not open on the weekend, while the others are taking this as a holiday. Oh, well. Still trying to hunt up the write up done on the cut-off switch. I cant remember who it originated from. If anyone has a link, let me know.
