Finally, my Mustang is on order

On Friday, my wife and I put in an X-plan order for my GT! I'm really excited because: 1) it's my first-ever new car and 2) it's my first Mustang.

Here's the nitty-gritty on the details:

GT coupe Premium package - T82
GT Appearance Package - 54G
Tungsten Grey - T8
Dark Charcoal interior - W
5-speed manual trans - 44K
3.55 Limited Slip Rear - 455
Interior Upgrade Package - 18G
Charcoal Panel - 67D
Front seat side airbags - 43A
Active Anti-Theft - 14A
Wheel Locking Kit - 17L

We even got a priority code of 10. The word from the dealer is that they thought 6-8 weeks for delivery. So far, the dealer has been great to work with and they even called us Saturday morning to verify that the order is in Ford's computer system. And unlike the other dealers I visited, these guys didn't balk at our X-plan PIN.

Congrats on the soon-to-be new 'Stang!

Mine is equipped somewhat similarly (see my siignature), except I have the aluminum dash and I don't have the active anti-theft system. I was lucky to find it at my local dealer without having to special order it. And they gave me a decent deal on the car as well. And it's my first Mustang as well.

Good choice of options, Cavallo. I debated the heated seats and the floor mats and for a few days, I even considered the spoiler delete but opted to keep it.

Hate fatory spoilers on mustangs, so chose to leave it off.

Guess it old age........we both turn 40 next year. We both like fully loaded cars. Makes the car payment a little easier to swallow.( 3 payments now)

We chose auto for bracket racing...........

I just picked up my 07 yesterday and i too got the spoiler delete. I wasn't sure how it would look on a black car but all i gotta say is wow. Even had people asking about why the back looked different while it was sitting there waiting for me to pick it up. I just put on a CDC ducktail and it looks even better now. Factory spoilers suck a big one
