Not a big fan of that hood but it seems to fit well with a plain LX? On a GT it really stands out too much...

Dude no way an SVO had that hood. I seen the hood before but I forgot which magazine, but come on dude an SVO hood...

Looks like you got a lot of wetsanding to do! Hood is a bit much....and doesn't look like it lines up good. You should try to shim it so it makes a better fit and finish before you shoot it. When its painted it will show up even more, and you'll be disappointed. I am in the process of doing mine and its a lot of work. I'm already 40 hours on just the shell (no nose, doors, etc.) and it hasn't seen the second coat of primer yet! My point is, be patient, and when you think you are done wetsanding.....go over it 3 more times

I like the hood. I think it looks nice. I have an LX myself as well What color are you going to have it painted?

Looks like good, be in for tons of sanding. I painted my car myself and after two weeks of sanding i didnt even want to look at my car. BTW the yellow painted drums look kinda strange just my .2 cents.

Yeah i agree....yellow drums look a bit fast and furious. I would change them back to black. The only time i like seeing calipers painted is if they are on a big-brake upgrade with some nice cross drilled rotors. Something about flaunting your stock drums doesn't make sense to me. Just my $0.03.

Only one thing left to do..... lower it a couple of inches, other wise looks good.... as for the hood i like it its different. Good work post more pictures when it all painted.

Bought the car with the painted drums and calipers, but it had pony's and you couldnt even tell. Just finished the car over the summer. It was100% stock when i bought it last winter. Most definately repainting drums and calipers when its ready for paint. Still needs a ton of prep work before paint. Hood was dented and i found the cobra R hood for cheap. I like the hood because ive never seen it on mustang around here and i always get complimented for it. I am 20 and this is my 3rd LX. Including the cost of the car, I have spent less 5 grand and whip $30,000 cars ass's.

Hood is not to my taste, but the car shows a lot of progress, nice work. Looks great, hope to be doing the same thing next summer to my '90 LX.

it used to look like a beater but youve come a long way and it looks ready for paint nice mods also

How many cans did you go through? And about how many layers of primer did you do?

I have a compressor with spray gunn, and got a gallon of black primer through the body shop at my school. Im thinkin of painting the car the blue that comes on the newer Mustangs as soon as suspension and new head/cam combo is finished.
