I have pretty much finished fixing all the screw ups on the rear quarters that were messed up by the welder I hired, shaped the wheelwells around the mini tubs. Today I took the second quarter panel down to bare metal, and gave it a coat of epoxy primer. I think I have a few more nights of stripping and priming. Maybe a week, then I can begin starting over with the filler.
It is going to be a lot of work, but I am looking forward to getting the car ready for paint finally.

It's coming along not bad. I have been filling and block sanding the rear quarter panels. They are in decent shape, but the upcoming week I won't be able to work on the car too much :( I think I have one or two more passes at 40 grit and then I'll switch to 80 and 136.

The quarter panels are the toughest part of this car, 'cause I modified them so much. I am learning the bodywork skills slowly though, and am going to take the time, to make them nice and straight.

After I do the quarters, I'll redo the f/g trunk, spoiler and extensions.

I wish there was a magical way to make it all go faster, sometimes. I am really looking forward to the point where the car is painted, finally. I talked to the painter this week, I honestly don't think the car is going to be ready for a while though.

I know how you feel about the body work, I am almost done with the body work on my upper scoops, then I look at your car, and see what you had to do on the trunklid and front fascia and how long it took to get the scoops where they are currently. Needless to say it's a reality check for how fast the the rest of the car will go. Though your car is coming along and has been a great help for what I'll need to to with mine.
