u know, i've never heard of this probrem with 4.6 GT now that you mensioned it. its a big probrem with Chevy. May be after with cam and tuning, ur exhaust gas gets hotter, may be. I for one - never had starter issue with my header, other then gets in my way when i was trying to install header
