Finally ran the mod coupe!

I took the modular coupe out last night on slicks for some passes at PIR. Don't have the nitrous finished yet so I ran it all motor. Best was a 12.92 at 105 all motor, backed up with a 12.93 at 103. It Pulled the left front wheel about 6 inches according to people watching the run. I hope to have the nitrous on by saturday and give the new Mickey thompson drag radials a shot at Woodburn for the heads up race.

What size shot are you planning on running?

I believe it's $10 for spectators.

The Twins are another couple weeks out, the intake will be here monday and I'll be ordering the shocks when I get payed on the 1st (last part, just not enough $$ till the end of the month). Just have to bolt on the intake, fab the final pipe up to the throttlebody and bolt a few things together. Should have everything done when the shocks show up so it'll just be bolting them in and adjusting the suspension before it is good-to-go.

If that is true, then I might actually get to see you run it this yr. I will be home for 10 days starting July 14th :nice:

Unless something big happens that should work out Cory. At this point i'm trying to decided between going up to the belview show and staying down here to do some T&T on the car. If I had the shocks I could probably squeeze it together in time for this weekend but I'm just not going to push my luck.

How's things accross the pond?

The plan is to run a 150 shot on the new NX 4.6L plate system. I may not have the plate by Saturday in which case I will run a 100 shot on a NX shark nozzle.

I am hoping I will be there Saturday to run true street. It all depends on my work schedule. We might start double shifts, so we will see. The mad thrash is on to get the car ready!

Congrats Jeff. How much does this car weigh? :stick: Sorry, I couldn't resist. :D
