yeah thank god. it started out a coupla months ago with a rearend noise that got louder the faster I went. so I bought a rear drum to drum with the same ratio (308s)for $200.00 and installed it, the noise was still there but it was only at speeds under 60 mph .then today I swapped out the axle bearings
and now finally no annoying wa wa wa wa at any speeds.

no turns didnt seem to make a diff.the axle bearing was a wa wa wa or maybe womp womp womp and when I would come to a stop the car would kinda lurch like something was on an eccentric. But like I said at around 50 MPH the noise would go away.I had the noise on accel and decel and it was there whether the clutch was engaged or disengaged. There was no play in the tire if u pulled in and out ,up and down or side to side, but as soon as I pulled the axle I could see that the axle was kinda chewed up where the bearing rides, just glad I had a spare axle laying around.
