I just got a job with construction as a laborer and start at 18 an hour Full Time. I don't start job until May but I'm paying on my GT now about 350 a month...I think I want to step up to 03 Cobra since I can save some more to put down..what you all think... I also get 4 dollar raise every 6 months too..

That is a nice pay rate, I need to come work with you. Use the money to mod the GT or spring for the cobra and have a bigger payment. It is your money so you should decide.

yay, carrying sheetrock up 8 flights of stairs is hella fun. After a few hours, you'll realize they have to pay people $18/hr just to get them to even consider not walking off. Unless you're an illegal immy, in which case, just look out for the big bus.

I know that when I got my GT (I was 16) in 1998, my insurance would have been doubled if I bought a cobra. Mustang (V6) and GT's are in one category (at least in my state) and Cobras are in a Special Vehicle category (SVT). Same thing with camaros ... the V6 and the Z28 are in one cateogory and then the SS is in another. Check on that first even though 18 bucks an hour is nice. Congrats on the new job.
