After buying my Paxton Novi 2000 I had 30 days to send in the warrenty information along w/ the orginial invoice to recive my 3 yr warrenty. Some how I lost my orginial invoice so I contacted the place were I bought it from to get another one.I sent in the warrenty info to Paxton w/ out the invoice but they sent me a letter back stating that it was not egible for the 3 yr warrenty w/ out the orginial invoice and if they did not recive it in 30 days I would only recive a 1 yr warrenty. Needless to say by the time I got it the 30 day period had come and gone, it was actually 2 months before I was finially able to get it. I wrote a long letter to Paxton explaining to them that I had trouble getting the orginial invoice b/c I kept getting the run arround so I explained to them in detail and did some butt kissing..lol

Well today I recived a big envelope including my 3 yr warrenty information

Nice. Did you get stickers? I remember when I received mine in the mail I was sooo happy.

I got stickers with my 3 year warranty(I was like" hell yeah",knowing I would never put them on my car) and I put them on my friend's moped while he was at work. I also put two V8 symbols from a Thunderbird. And some MSD, Autometer, and Summit stickers. It looks funny. :D

Supercharged and intercooled V8 moped.

Striped- You get those TFS heads yet?

Naa, no heads this yr for me. All Im adding for the rest of this summer is the UPR Power pipe and changing over to Magnaflows. Possibly getting a Pro-M 80M calibrated for a S/C. Other then that the car is staying how it is. I was going to do a 331 Stroker w/ Heads/Cam exc exc... but decided agnest it b/c I see cars on here w/ more miles then mine running more boost and there not having any problems ( SC94GT ). I do have plans for it next yr but it wont be motor work.

JAKE: How the hell are you putting out 325/341 and your stock clutch is holding  Thats crazy. Although my cluch did have 120,000 miles on it, how much is on yours?? My stock one would hold to 4,000 RPMS and then slip, at that RPM's it put down 293/353. Your clutch must be supa tuff :D

Awesome, warranties are always good to have, that car must be amazingly fast, im very jealous

Id like to find out for myself, ever since the S/C install I havent been able to take it past 4,500 RPMS b/c the stock clutch wouldent hold , myself and a friend put in a SPECII and that one is still slipping as well. Its either way way out of adjustment ( I do have an adustible clutch quadrent just not in yet) or it got contaminated and its junked. Wont find out for sure until we put in the adjustibe clutch quadrent, if it still slips then the SPEC II is trashed. Either way it kinda sucks haveing a blown 5.0 and not able to take it past 5,000 RPMs on the dyno to see what it really puts out :notnice:

did you get a new flywheel? I just got my motorsport clutch in yesterday and the instructions specifically state to NOT get the flywheel resurfaced and to purchase a new one instead. I wish I had the documentation at work to quote, but they only guaranteed performance with a new flywheel because of reports of inconsistent machining.

No I just had it resurfaced, they just say to buy a new one so you buy more parts, thrers nothing wrong w/ resurfacing your stock one. I did hear that the NAPA where I had mine done had been having problmes w/ there resurfacing machine so that might be th cause to but my friend chris had his done there after mine and he has a SPEC III and he has no problems. I think the real issue is that the clutch was accidently sprayed w/ WD-40 by accident by chris when we were doing the install. He ment to clean it w/ Brake cleaner but accidently grabed the wrong can. I called SPEC and they said that something like that would cause the clutch to become contaimanted ( I dident tell them it was actually sprayed w/ it) but they said that even if it is contaminated that they will work w/ me on it and not stick e w/ buying a new clutch. But I bet dollars to donuts that the adjustible clutch quadrent wont fit it and the my SPEC II is prob junk.

21k miles on my car, so the clutch is doing "alright". Although I'm getting that sandpapery feeling when I push it in now. New clutch next summer. And yes it is supa tuff :D
