That's cool. So you're probably looking at a 5-lug disc conversion? That's what I would do. 13.4 @ 101 is plenty of car to have fun with on the street. A great off track corner carver and I say that from experience (see first link in sig). If I were staying primarily on the street and not looking for 10's, I'd want the Cobra brake upgrade for mine. Or Brembo if I ever won a lottery Especially if this is a regular driver for you.

The Cobra brake swap is be far my favorite upgrade. They look cool and the stopping power is awesome. But now I am in the middle of a 351w upgrade also. Remember, you have to be able to stop something that is fast!

I have been looking into doing my brakes. I'd get the baer kit over the cobra r brakes. You don't have to flare lines, uses stock brake booster, you can get it in 4 lug if you want to keep your pony wheels, and it comes with stainless braided brake hoses. For the same price as a cobra r kit why not go with better.

You can't use pony wheels with a 13" front rotor. Also the Baer kit is the same caliper as the Cobra kit, just different letters on the caliper. The only difference is the rotors. I got Brembo rotors with my caliper kit from PPI. I am also using the stock booster with a MC from a 94-95 mustang. I'v got less than $600 into the front kit and that includes spindles. As far as flaring lines, you only have to do that if you are not smart enough to go to Auto Zone and get an adapter. No cutting and flaring here. Do yourself a favor, and use a little known feature here at Stangnet called the search function. Amazing all the stuff that comes up. Also, how can you call the Baer kit better quality? Most of the parts are off the shelf stuff. I could have pieced together the same kit for way cheaper than they sell it for. I'm already half way there and have spent nowhere near the cost of what Baer seels their stuff for.
