After much anticipation and aggravation, after deciding to help with the install of my Heads, Intake and Cam, I am finally finished. Had problems with the 24LB injectors and 24LB MAF, so I will have to install those later when I get a tune to go with it and maybe a blower. lol. Anyway here's the pics.

Guess you're only getting one picture since I'm getting an error with every other upload attempt. Oh well. Heres a couple videos.

Sounds good man. Are you running on the stock injectors and MAF right now?

Running stock MAF and 19lb "multi spray" injectors. We couldn't get her to stop stalling with the 24lb injector/ MAF setup, but I blame the injectors that I got. Going to try a different brand later and try tuning

So far, the idle is a little bit jumpy but she'll equalize over the next couple of days. It's 100% driveable, sounds awesome and feels great. big difference from stock.

Damn that sounds good, that cobra is clean where'd you find it? What heads are those, I know GT40 alum. But what version? I have about the same set up currently. Got f-303 with 1.7s with stock heads and intake. Just picked up a clean tubular GT40 upper and lower, 24lb inj. With mass air to go with it. Stuck on heads though can't decide.

A lot of it boils down to what your goals are. For me, I loved the look of the cobra intake. Found it at a junkyard from Connecticut and had it shipped to me. I went with the aluminum gt40 heads off ebay and f cam because those three are all decent power gain and not super tricky to put together. All Ford on Ford parts, no messing with some of the other setups. Some of the more expensive stuff like trickflow might give you better top end power and there's the cheaper shorter intakes that are great for torque. The intake was in good condition when I got it, but I had it sandblasted and powdercoated.

My '93 Cobra (factory) ran exceedingly well. The kicker was, if I bought it, and fixed the RF fender damage, it would become my wife's daily driver to work. How could I refuse?

Have almost no pics of it. We had little dough, needed tires, had the early Fox rims around, so.......she didn't mind. Gave the car to my nephew who is in the Marine Corps. He has it mothballed in Kansas.

Wondering if you went with roller-rocker arms, as Cobra came factory with them. imp

Nice man yeah cobra and tubular GT40 have always looked great. I'm actually getting mine blasted &a powder coated now. For the heads are the GT40 X306 or 307s? I had an option for picking up some GT40 Y aluminum heads for 500, from the guy I bought my intake from, looked clean but hesitated and they sold. Debating between GT40 X, SVEs which everyone says to pass on or the TFs which I guess are their base idk like 1300 on lmr. I just know those three all work with the F-303 but I guess since they are Stud mount I'd have to buy new rockers which sucks. Can you change Stud mount to pedestal or is that not an option? I'm know mechanic/technician I just order parts then find a good speed shop or someone who knows mustangs.

Honestly this was my first time doing anything like this. I was more of the helper / watcher than the prime worker

Glad to here the heads worked out for you. Now go run it and/or dyno it so we can see the power difference.

Did you have any previous passes on the old motor?
