Finished project today...HAPPY-no idle surge...yet

I went to Autozone right after I dropped my son off at school. Bought a fuel pressure tester...
Set my TPS.......(I tried to follow the instructions of " measure the voltage between the white/black line with the grey/red line...I couldn't get a reading..
I grounded to the battery and checked each three lines and only one was in the range of .95 to 1.5........I had to play with the adjuster on the TB but finally got it to read .98...........changed the therm from 160 to 180.....started it up and it ran like @#%$. Would not idle without raising idle....the I heard some air and looked behind the upper intake and saw that the T split from the PCV valve had broke and was sucking major air....went back to Autozone and bought one and installed it..........started the car up.........set the idle at 650/700 rpms and she sounded great........pulled it into drive........no stall......no searching idle......
I took it for a lap around the block for a few blocks and did not notice any idle issues or stalling........hope my luck holds up.........last mod to make is the 255lph but that will have to wait a week or so......still have 3/4 tank of gas......

Thanks guys, I also put the two of the Replica rims on the front.....gotta wait for the two new tires to come in to back them on.......couldn't wait to see the change......LOL

Sweet, I hope I have the same luck as you! How's that Pro Products TB working, since I have the same one? The Track Heat kit is with the stage 1 cam, correct? I just ordered mine yesterday, along with the TFS rocker arms, and some new lifters.

Joe told me of the sticking throttle on the PPI, I set the idle screw just before the flange hits the sticking point....so far so good, except for having to bore a new product out to fit...oh well, I paid for it, I'll try it, if it starts messing up...I'll throw it away ...lol and yes I have the stage one...........If I ever find the cord for my other camera I will download a video........Thanks to all who commented you guys have been great...
