i had a starting problem...so i got my new truck cheap....well since it had a start up and start driving problem i thought it was my o2 sensors or my maf....well i cleaned both, put in a new fuel filter, changed spark plugs, and new air filter and still had problems....after talking it over with my father, i noticed it surged when i started it up....so i pulled the alternator and noticed my air tube( the hard plastic tubing from the mass air meter and throttle body) had cracks in the ribbing so it was sucking up extra air....well i still had the alternator checked and it was only pulling 5 amps....its suppose to be pulling 12
