Firewall to engine ground strap?

Looks like the same strap that later was on the EFI cars on the driver's side.

You’d be way ahead if you pick a spot with access on both sides and install a ground stud. Burnish both sides, and run a bolt with washers on both ends. Secure it with a nut, then use another nut to attach your ground lug.





That’s how we do it on aviation grounds. Makes it much easier to add grounds for other things later.

Great idea... Wish I had done that before I reinstalled the dash and firewall insulation....

You can always do one in the cowl area. Easy access there. Or really anywhere you have access

Just make sure you put it so when you work in that area it scrapes most of the skin from the back of your hands, Blood, Sweat and Tears you know
