Cool man, nice burnout. On your race, I am sure the Z was spinning massively too. You forget LT1s are tq monsters. Little 245s can't hold it. Get your LTs and stuff put on there and then re-race!

To that guy that said LT1s are slow...HA, I guess your pulley makes all the difference huh?

Tell that to me when I had only a 3" exhaust and CAI and could easily put down a GT and hang with LS1s...Hell I even raced an LS1 with catback and lid, he ran 13.2s at that time and I hung with him to 125. Some LT1s run really strong. My roommate at that time had a stock 99 SS, who won when we raced? We took turns winning if that tells you anything. That's ok though, people think the LT1 is slow, better for me since mine isn't

It's funny how GT owners (not all, but most), like to discount the LT1 as slow compared to the garden variety GT V-8. Yeah, the LT1 isn't one of these LS1 Gods, but Reality check, even the old '93 LT1's made more HP, Torque and overall power then the 04' GT's. Both cars will be in the 13.9-14.2 range with the WS6 (Ram-Air) and SS LT1's running 13.6-13.9, stock.

Rims are from a 98, yes he lost backpressure, and my launch was really bad, spun threw most of first. If i did a good launch I would have had him. We are going to race again soon, after I get my headers in. They are just sitting in my room.

something is up with his car or he cant drive then. LT1's should easily beat a basically stock 94-95 GT they are a low 14 second car with a good driver, we rock high 14 second cars with a good driver....this is stock of course...

nice. get some videos up. I always like to see a nice burn out. It sucks though since I have a AODE. I can still get the tire spinning pretty hard though.

You just need to learn how to do it. Once it shifts into 3rd, turn on the juice and letter rip!
