just got my 06 mustang gt about two months ago car only had 36k on it now has 40k and now the drivers seat sqeaks and it just started sqeaking when you start it only does it for a few seconds though and in between shifts but stops when it gets warm and it also makes a grinding noise when letting off the clutch needless to say i will never own another one and will be trading it for a new camaro soon

Have you raced the car? I have an 06 GT 5spd with 45k and it has fewer squeaks and shifts better than my buddies 2010 camaro ss with hardly any miles. Either way, it seems that you're not looking for advice to fix anything, just trading the car in, so good luck with your camaro, hope it works better for you.

If you're looking to get a GM product for fewer interior squeaks??? Good luck with that!!! Anyway why not find what is squeaking and fix it.

first, coming onto a site where people love their Mustangs and bashing Mustangs is not the best way to get help for a problem.

Second, can you define the problem a little more so someone can assist you ? The driver's seat squeaks ? What else squeaks when you start it ? The engine ? The driver's seat ? Be a little more specific plz.

read any reviews my freind. a new camero's interior is far cheaper than any mustang made in the last 6 years...maybe longer. if you dont believe us, drive one. even the highest end one...just go drive it. youll see what we mean and why we prefer our mustangs.

but yeah, squeeks can be really easy fixes...explain it a little better...and use a little punctuation!

when i start it i think it might be the belt and when letting off the clutch it makes a grinding noise but it has to be in gear to do it

Squeaks are not all that uncommon. I had a few squeaks and rattles in my 05. Found out where they were coming from and fixed them myself. And they were all caused by things I did to it...and racing it. Buying a Camaro isn't going to fix your problem and is only going to cost you more in the end. Besides...have you seen the interior of the 2010+ Mustang? By far the nicest and the Camaro doesn't even touch it as far as quality, and if you get a 2011 GT you'll be faster also. My 2010 has almost 14k miles on it and not a single rattle or squeak anywhere and I drive it hard. Part of the fun of fixing something is figuring it out yourself. We're not going to be able to tell you how to fix a squeak, you're gonna have to do that on your own. As far as grinding when you clutch? That sounds like a tranny/clutch issue unrelated to your drivers seat. But beware, do a little research on all the quality control issues GM is having with the Camaro and then decide of it's worth trading in a car with a squeaky seat for one that will fall apart. Good luck, and honestly you probably would have gotten more helpful answers had you not started off the way you did. If you planned on trading in for a Camaro, go for it, we don't care.
