It was a 98 GT with bolt ons and exhaust. He didn't know I had a secret weapon. He drove by and reved a little and I reved a little and we followed each other to a little place where they have the 1/4 marked off. He said, hang on just a minute, I need to get my tires sticky. He did not know that would not matter. I watched and pulled forward to the line. He honked 3 times and we both took off. I bogged really bad leaving and then the whine that I have learned to love so much in the last few days came alive. I shifted to 2nd and he was about 3 lengths behind me and then I missed 3rd and could not find it. Finally found it and laid the ears back on it and ended up a good 7-8 lengths on him. He could not believe his car got that bad.

Right on man! That is what it is all about. I am glad to hear it is running strong. Actually, how is it running. Did you get it tuned?

OK Ok... second official kill.... first this weekend. And the guys from SCT gave me a basic tune that seems to be real nice. Once I get the knowledge to change stuff with the software, I think I might be dangerous. I am hitting about 12#s at about 3200rpm. The only sad part is that my Nittos just spin once and then it takes off. Kind of a fun feeling. I am real bad about trying to force third and it does not work good. When I am just riding and shifting hard it goes in fine. I don't mind being a rookie with a turbo.
