well get that 60' down...with some practice i dont see what you couldnt hit a 1.9x 60' so that would drop you down a few tenths....

I ran 14.7 @ 96 on my first and only run when my car was almost bone stock. Headers, pullies, K&N, and 3.73's were the only mods.

I ran a 14.9 with just headers, x-pipe, CIA and mass air meter, with 3:73 and I have a AODE.

I ran a 14.7 @ 95mph bone stock down to the paper air filter... Did have the silencer removed. And cut a 2.1 60' time on street tires. And my car has 123k miles on it so its not that far behind yours.

Even with your 2.2 60' you should still be a lot faster than that

Whoa guys...take it easy on him. Notice how he said it was his FIRST time at the track???

In my opinon, the first outing at the track shouldn't be for getting times, but just for familiarizing yourself with the racing process...a lot is going on and its hard to concentrate on launching, shifiting, etc...everything that goes into a good run.

I have been to the track with a 500rwhp 2003 Cobra...it was his first time at the drag strip. The car is easily good for mid 11's at over 120mph. Because it was his first time though, he was struggling to get into the 13's at 114 because he was so overwhelmed with everything.

Someone else jumped in the car and pulled a 12.xx @ 118mph at the end of the night...so it does take practice.

With ported E7's and Cobra Intake, yes your car is good for high 13's at 99-101mph, but you need to practice.

i think i was shifting waaay to late. about 5800 on the stock tach. so maybe about 6200 in reality. iknow i know, this is way too much and i think this may account for my crappy mph and part of my crappy time. i only had two good runs. missed third on one and spun real bad on the other. the tires i am on are 245/50/16 R rated khumo 711's. i dont think i could get any kind of 60 ft time with these tires. (had to launch at idle.) i saw an srt neon run a 14.8 @96mph so i didn't feel too bad...
