track in 03 gt, best run was 14.411#@98.12. I think I left alot of ET on the table though. What are your guys using for street tires to hook? I know DR or M/T would be the way to go but I like the idea of street tires. The car came with new goodyear GSC's and they wouldn't bite for anything. With that trap speed what is a realistic ET goal?

With that trap i would say 14.1. Don't use street tires for drag racing, you won't be happy with the results.

Im puttin M/T et'd on my 17" cobras for the track cause street tires blow.

But i bet your 60' time was like a 2.2-2.3 b/c with the 98 trap you should be like 14.0-14.2 range but keep workin on it

Yeah my best 60 was 2.258. I found the car harder to launch than the 5.0's I've had. Just enough rpm and it would go, get it wrong and it would bog or spin... So no one has a street tire suggestion? I'm just really into seeing what I can turn with streets...

98 MPH trap I bet the DA number was high too..


try to go up on a cool less humid day ( I understand that is not easy in florida) and work on your 60ft's if you can get a 2.0 60ft you will be doing good.
