Just got a new DD, found a nice 2002 Zinc Yellow GT. Figured if I had to have a new DD I might as well make this one fun to drive and so far it is living up to that. Looks like a good site with plenty of info which I am sure I will be in need of. Here' a few pics but tbh there arent any exterior mods that were done to it that I can see. I did find it has a BBK TB and BBK CAI along with a SLP exhaust although I'm not sure exactly which one but it does sound dam good So I hope you all dont mind a few dumb questions on occasion although I do know how to use the search feature

Looks Clean. Welcome. Be sure to search before asking a question to lower the chances of people getting annoyed.

Good looking ride man. I love yellow. At least its got a few basic mods already. Just hope the previous owner didn't beat the chit out of it.

I am on enough car boards, so I know all to well how that goes Not sure if I'll do any mods due to the DD status, although I did consider maybe a little auto crossing

I CARFAXED it and actually found out we're now owner #4!!!! Poor thing has been tossed around like a cheap hooker Gonna do some much needed maintenance to it and it should be all good. Everything feels good though, brakes, suspension, clutch, etc.... There is an odd coloring with the paint on the rear drivers quarter though?!?!?! Minor issues though.

Mot actually previous car just that the GT will be DD as my other car cannot go out in the winter. A 650rwhp Trans Am is fun in the summer but in a winter car in the Chicago area it sux

Ya know I honestly dont even care if it beats anyone its just fun to drive. I love the seating position in this car and teh 5 speed is what I was really wanting (the TA is stalled auto). As an added bonus this GT seems to get pretty good MPG which surprised me.

I think alot of people have a terrible misconception about the kind of gas mileage you can get out of these 4.6s... For a V8 they hold their own in the MPG area

Well, I have a the TA with the 408 that gets 7.5 mpg (race gas aint cheap either) and a TBSS that gets about 13. So far I have no doubt that this will get WAY better than those so as long as it doesnt kill me driving it in the winter I think I am very happy with the purchase

I will dig some out, didnt figure anyone here would want to see that. Our local club is all american muscle so we all interact with each other, a few imports have snuck in though. But this being a ford site I figured the TA wouldnt be to welcome

Thanks, I like it but its just no longer a DD. I would have loved to have picked up a Terminator but theyre still a bit pricey.
