It burns a quart of oil every 2K miles and I'd really like to buy an aluminum explorer engine, rebuild it and replace the stocker, but the wife and I are having our first kid in July.
Nope, the wife gave me the OK to keep it despite having a kid and I don't want to get rid of it because it would be difficult to convince her that I need another one
I just got mine out a couple weeks ago as well. Parked it on October 14th, got it out March 9th.
Felt good to fire it up for the first time in months.
I lucked out last fall when my dad sold one of his toys. It freed up a bay in his garage, so I had a heated/critter-free bay to park it. It's nice not having to worry about that.
Hey looks real good and fresh as a daisy. I recently have been driving mine although it was technically on the road. We had such bad weather in the N.E. all winter long starting just prior to Thanksgiving, so I know how you feel letting her gallop. Sweet feeling for sure.
