Ok, so I took the car to get the a/c fixed... The guy said the Proform/Flex-a-lite fan was way too small to keep the condensor cool while at idle.. So I bought a Taurus 3.8 V6 fan... HOLY CRAP... This thing will close the thermostat in 95 degree weather with 100% humidity! It cools like a MOTHER! This fan is seriously 100000 times better then the Proform/Flex-a-lite. Then.. The a/c stopped working.. It turned out to be the clutch relay/ wot switch under the air box. So I got that fixed today, and I was a little worried if the fan would keep the car cool with the a/c on high... Guess what? IT CLOSES THE THERMOSTAT. This fan is incredable. Next up is a DC Controller to keep me from pulling a ****nit load of amps all the time when the car is on. This is all with a Griffin Rad, and a Mr Gasket 180 thermo. The car NEVER goes over 183 degrees even at idle for over an hour in direct sun in the heat of the day. This is SO awesome!! :nice: :nice: :nice: :nice:

I wish I had that Kind of cooling power... even with stock fan, Fluidyne rad w/ Watter wetter, 180 thermo I still get 230 in this hot weather. Water pumo is fairly new, but I think the clutch fan is going out.

how hard was the fan conversion?

I work too much (80+ hours a week), so I couldn't search the junk yards for it... so I bought it on Ebay for 50 bucks.

As far as ease of putting in... Just some wiring, relays.... and some weatherstripping around the paremeter to make a good seal. I just zip tied it to the radiator, but I bought those pull through radiator things... but they work for crap. Zip Ties are the best invention since sliced bread!
