For about a year now, I have had an intermittent stall. Typically it would happen from both a cold start or warm start, when backing out of the driveway or in a parking lot....the car would just stall....each time it would start right back up and either run fine or stall 1 or 2 more times, then run fine.

Someone told me to change the plugs and check all the electrical wires. I bought new Bosch platinum plugs and installed them...while installing the plugs, I started playing with the wire harnesses and pulled on the little red wire leading into the coil and it pulled right out of the harness...it was obviously loose....I had put a new coil in a year ago when I was having PIP problems and replaced the Dizzy at that time as well...anyway, I put the wire back into the harness securely and since I did that, I have had no more stalls in 3 days. When I back out of the driveway or maneuver in a parking lot, there is no more stall. If that wire was loose, then why would it only stall intermittently, and run fine after that?....or was it the plugs?

I am not sure if it was the new plugs, or the wire that may have been loose leading to the coil, but it seems to work fine now....that is until the next problem:hail2:

Any thoughts are appreciated?

That would do it...

Had a similar problem with my truck burning the coil wire and it would only die under certain high load situations... at least most of the time it was over 45mph so it would jumpstart itself...
