Wohoo, finally got my turbo back from being rebuilt.. ( new seals, 360* thrust bearing, cleaned up)

Built my new stainless crossover, which DOES NOT leak one bit, and fits much much better then the old one. Just gota re-plumb the wastegate outlet back into the downpipe, and bolt the shi* back on, and im hitting the track this Sunday! at OSW.. Think i got my tune to being close.. finally figured out how to scale my 200% load figures down. Im stoked! Il post more pics tonight, when i have it all bolted back on.. ANd if this threads still around come Sunday, then maybe il have some decent times to post..

Remember im still running the stock AODE transmission. Most i can luanch at is 1600rpm, its going to bog off the line, no matter what.. so dont expect any crazy 1/4 times, lol. Im mostly just looking for a decent MPH, which should show the potential.

I wish you nothing but the best of luck at the track

When you get back to the house I hope the letters AODE have not rearranged themselves to spell DOA!

Im not worried about the tranny failing.. The thing has held up to more abuse then i could ever throw at it, for the last 4 years. It see's roughly 700 ft lbs of torque at the flywheel and still shifts strong. I just wish i had the extra $550 right now for a good convertor.

Il post pics asap, let the brother borrow the camera for a day.

130mph? I kinda doubt that, im thinking more along the lines of 118-125.

Remember im only making 475-550rwhp depending on the boost. And im running an automatic.

I think you are right for the first time out but with some more time tinkering with the turbo I think you could do it. You definately have the setup for it.
