These are my first two attempts without the propane, just extra fuel from the engine... I have a 20lb tank of propane that I want to shoot the system with if anyone can figure out how to wire three coil packs(see other thread)...
Anyway I hope you enjoy and bigger flames are soon to come!!!!!!

It's supposed to flame on the uprev...not on the downrev. That way any flames are forced outwards.

Either way this is a bad idea. I hope you aren't gonna just use a BBQ propane tank and turn on the knob and start sparking away. I can totally see another thread coming

You guys obviously dont know what you're talking about! The propane will help propel the vehicle foward, kind of like a jet's gas turbine engine! It adds between 1000-1500 HP, depending on how much propane is used.

There are 3 cars that enter our parade each year and they all flame on the down rev

ya, if i were an incompetent fool i would say you are right. it flames on the downrev because the main coil is being re-routed to the two rears which are hooked up to spark plugs. hence = cut off spark to the engine and fuel still flows through, making its way to the exhaust tips where the spark is. My goal is to NOT cut the spark to the engine, I don't want the fuel flowing through like that because the fuel washes the oil from the piston rings, and you have to change your oil more often. If I can get the rear coils to spark without re-routing the spark from the main coil, then the propane will be the new fuel.... You guys should have more fun and quit being so pessimestic. Bless your heart.

I think it's pretty rad on an old hotrod...i just think it's kinda silly on any modern car. Still if it makes you happy the it makes me happy

HAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA I LOVE IT!

Keep up the good work. I can't wait to see the propane setup.

Are those pipes the curved down GT tails? You need straight-out LX tails to get the flame to throw backwards like a true flamethrower.

So I was looking on youtube and noticed some people get small blue flames and some are huge yellow fireballs. Is the propane the huge yellow ball?

Dude, were not being pessimistic, we are giving our opinions. These guys are actually looking out for you, because putting a propane tank in a car sounds pretty dangerous.. You cant expect to post anything on a forum and having everyone like it. So grow a pair and expect to get some criticism. Bless your heart.

no, propane is a blue flame. I can also throw some magnesium filings on the ground and they will spark like the sun when the flame hits em'.
