Flaming river shaft install, steering wheel alignment question......

I installed a flaming river steering shaft, dumb ass me left the key turned forward thus the steering wheel was free to turn, the steering wheel is now out of line with the wheels, about 1/4 turn, is there a simple fix or will i have to loosen the shaft from the rack and pinion and do it that way.

loosen it and do it the right way, be sure to install it with pletny of "anit seize" lubricant for future ease of removal.
