Flaming river steering shaft

I just took my motor out, and Im getting new long tubes from Jet-Hot and I was wondering if the flaming river steering shaft is smaller in size than the one that is one there now. One of the primarys was rubbing on the shaft! I also am putting in a Pa K-member for more clearance Thanks

I have everything you are looking at doing and mine does not rub but it is tight. I do not know if it is smaller or not. Hope that helps.

Thanks... I just dont want the shaft to rub on my 500 set of headers! Do you have a part number for the shaft thanks?

I'm quite sure that its smaller then the stock shaft...

NO, i didnt know what i was going with, i just remember reading something about their shafts being smaller! But that was exactly what i was looking for? Do you run it, or any one? Does it allow more clearance then the stock piece? Thanks

well from what is says on the page.. I would think that it helps by giving "improved header clearance"
