Well mine has faded to a grey color but it looked pretty cool when it was fresh. The key is to have excellent body work and use flat or semi gloss PAINT and not primer.

Some people are gonna rag you over it...it's just not for everyone.

Personally i'm not a fan. I see flat black on nice cars and think "way to ruin an awesome car"

there was one for sale on corral, i thought it looked pretty badass. i would do it if it wasnt for the fact that it would get realllly old hearing the same question every time you drive the car... "hey nice mustang, what color you gonna paint it?"

Wow, I agree. That is a crime. I think it works on some cars but definitley not on that one.

On the other hand, I thought this coupe looked pretty cool. It's just not for me.

There's a huge difference between flat black primer and flat black paint. Also if it were me i would opt for semi gloss or satin black, not flat black.

My friend "306 Notchback"s car. Flat black paint. This car will end up being painted white though.

I wouldn't do it. It looks like a primered up project car. I would just bc/cc that thing.

Not flat black, but I did see a flat dark green metallic coupe at the CJ's Customer Appreciation Day Show. I thought it looked pretty cool.

One thing good about primer-looking paint, is that you won't have to ever wax again for the shine and reflection.

True, but it will show every speckel of dust and dirt more than a glossy paint would.

Most flat black high-end cars I've seen have been runners.... drug runner cars meant to run down the highway at 180+ mph .

That's not flat black, that's satin/semi gloss black. Paint a coupe that color, give it the right wheels and stance and it'll look that good too.
