I'm asking this question for a buddy of mine who is putting together a 302. He found a 5.0 roller block but already has a hydraulic flat tappet cam for the buildup. Can he use the regular cam in the roller block? I know the blocks are slightly different (something about the lifter bosses being taller in roller motors) and that he'll need to use flat tappet specific pushrods, but will the rest work? Thanks.

Don't forget about a longer set of PR's after a geometry check.
