I plan on geting the FULl one piece floor...Is this a bad thing...Will that thing slide in from the bottom some how or will i have to cut it to get it in

I was in the same boat about this time last year. Got a welder and air compressor and went at it. It is not hard just take your time and it will be ok. I decided to do the cut and patch method instead of the one piece because of ease and it is less likely to get the car out of square.mustangman70 said:i am a newbie when it comes to body work on any car let alone an old mustang

The floor pan supports and trans cross member is in the way.danny clemens said:That's what I've read too. Any insight as to why it won't go in from the bottom if the drive train is removed.
