I want something nice and loud, but not too loud that you can't hear yourself speaking inside the car. I know Magnapacks have a deeper sound to them, but are they still loud
Yeah Magnapacks are loud ...but IMO Flowmasters sound the best on mustangs ...either way, you'll easily be able to hear yourself talk - they aren't THAT loud inside
i have the magnapack cat back installed just now and they are rather amazing. they dont have that flowmaster sound and it has alot of bass to it. it is actually pretty loud with a stock H pipe but its not obnoxious. the good thing is that it does not drone inside your car!
Imo i really depends on if you going to get and H or X pipe and if its going to be o/r or not.... o/r x really sounds like crap with a chamber muffler imo..... really depends
I have the packs on mine with an o/r x and there isn't anything around that sounds similar. That's what I like. It's a little loud at times so I just accelerate through it
I prefer flows but as 100 guys and 50 will say flows and 50 will say magnas. Is personal preference on type of sound. Try and find some sound clips to listen to. I know flowmaster.com has some on their web site. Im not sure about magnaflow but they might.
