Flowmasters for an 83, fit on my 90?

Hey, I can get a deal on a header back flowmaster setup with off-road H and 40 series mufflers. Standard stuff I guess. Anyway, this is coming of an 83 GT and I have a 90 GT just need to know if this will fit without major modification.

Summit says kits fit 86-93, but I dont mind moving some hangers if I have to.

it should work fine with the exception of the tails. the older GT's had lax rear bumpers and had exposed tails. your car doesnt.

Thats what I figured. That works great, my girls 86 could use some new tails anyway.

'83 GT's had single exhaust.


If it's dual exhaust, it's either custom made or someone made modifications to the '83 to run an 86-later dual exhaust

83 had a singal hump crossmember so unless they changed it one/both pipes will cross under the passager side of the transmission crossmember. I had an 83 that had duals and both pipes went under the passager side.
